There was a time when 9 people were seated around our kitchen table every day. With the children grown and job-related changes, it became quiet on our farm. Too quiet for my taste, so I turned deserted teenager rooms into accommodations for guests from near and far. Ever since, I don't have to travel to see the world - it comes to me and reveals itself in many interesting conversations around the very same kitchen table.
In relaxed company and with a rich breakfast there is ample opportunity for easygoing talk and planning trips for the day ahead. With a full house, you are likely to find yourself surrounded with two or three languages, communicating with hand and feet, if necessary.
